Map Krakow : Accueil de ma famille à Cracovie
Le premier week end de mai , j’ai accueilli mes parents et ma soeur à l’aéroport de Cracovie . Première expérience pour eux en Pologne sous un beau soleil en général. Leur premier contact de la Pologne n’a pas été très chaleureux. En effet arrivés à l’aéroport de Cracovie, il a fallu prendre un mini bus pour aller à la station de train qui nous amène ensuite directement à la gare centrale de Cracovie. Le chauffeur de bus a été quelque peu sympatique avec moi . Le fait de poser une simple question sur le prix du trajet en bus dans un premier temps en polonais ( qu’il n’a pas voulu comprendre) ,ensuite traduit en anglais m’a donné le droit d’avoir un « beau doigt donneur » en pleine face. Réponse gratuite, j’ai envie de dire... Je ne peux pas comprendre ce genre de comportement, je dirais peut être que les changements que vit en ce moment la Pologne, la venue d’un tourisme de masse surtout à Cracovie rend les gens susceptibles et pas toujours très sympatiques. En effet ce n’est que depuis l’entrée de la Pologne dans l’Union Européenne que l’on peut vraiment observer ce phénomène selon le témoignage de polonais ayant vécu à Cracovie avant ( depuis trois ans maintenant 2004). Les trop grandes différences dans les mentalités entre les générations , la période vécue pendant le communisme durant des années a rendu les plus anciens surement suspicieux de la venue de ce tourisme de masse venant principalement de l’Ouest de l’Europe. Donc premier accueil de ma famille en Pologne ne pouvait pas être plus chaleureux !!! Enfin juste pour dire que la Pologne, c’est aussi certaines personnes qui ne veulent pas comprendre la venue des touristes dans leur pays , ce qui donnent un très bon exemple de ce que veut dire l’expression « être étranger » dans un pays. Les polonais dans la plupart des situations sont très accueillants mais dans certaines autres ( restaurants, autobus, kiosques, gares, aéroport) leur comportement se rapproche parfois du mot « xénophobie » ou « raciste » et le sentiment de ne pas être le bienvenu est vraiment ressenti. Et ce ne sont pas des paroles en l’air , ce sont des situations vécues trop souvent à mon goût. Le séjour de mes parents en Pologne a été aussi l’occasion de profiter de la belle ville de Cracovie ( voir photos) , bateau- mouche, balade en calèche autour du centre, très bon repas dans un restaurant juif à Kazimierz où l’accueil des restaurateurs est bien plus chaleureux que dans la vieille ville. On a été également à Wielicka ( voir photos), aux camps d’Auschtwitz et Birkenau , très impressionnant ( voir les photos) , à Rzeszow et Lancut et au village de Zakopane dans les Tatras.

The first weekend of May, I hosted my parents and my sister at the airport in Krakow. First experience for them in Poland under a bright sunshine in general. Their first contact with Poland was not very warm. Indeed arrived at the airport in Krakow, we had to take a mini bus to go to the train station, which then leads us directly to the central station in Krakow. The bus driver was not very friendly with me. The fact asking a simple question on the price of bus ride as a first step in Polish (he did not want to understand), then translated into English gave me the right to have a "beautiful finger donor "in my face. “Answer free”, I want to say ... I can not understand this kind of behaviour, I would say maybe because the changes in Poland at this moment, the advent of mass tourism especially in Krakow makes people susceptible and not always very friendly. Indeed it is only since the entry of Poland into the European Union that we really can observe this phenomen on according to the testimony of Polish who lived in Krakow before (three years now since 2004). Too big differences in attitudes between generations, the period during communism lived for years gave the oldest probably suspicious of the coming of this mass tourism mainly from western Europe. So the first host of my family in Poland could not be more friendly !!! Finally just to say that Poland is also some people who do not want to understand the arrival of tourists in their country , it was a very good example of what the sentence means "to be foreign in a country.” Polish people in most situations are very friendly but in some others (restaurants, bus stands, railway stations, airport) their behavior is sometimes near the word "xenophobia" or "racist" and the feeling of not being welcome is really felt. And these are not just words, these are situations experienced too often for my taste. The holidays of my parents in Poland was also an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful city of Krakow (see pictures), boat, horse-drawn carriage ride around the centre, very good meal in a restaurant Jewish in Kazimierz where people who work in the Restaurant are more cordial than in the old city. We were also in Wielicka (see pictures), in the camps Auschtwitz and Birkenau, very impressive (see pictures), Rzeszow and Lancut and the village of Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains.( see pictures)

Arrival of Will, french friend in Krakow : Le premier week end , un premier touriste de France ( Will ) est venu me rendre visite en Pologne. Je l'ai rejoint à Cracovie. Bien que mon pied était pas encore complètement rétabli, je lui ai quand meme fait le tour de la ville. On a eu de la chance, il a fait un temps magnifique tout le week end . On pouvait meme se promener en pull over. Je lui ai montré les deux grands quartiers de Cracovie, Kazimierz et la vieille ville. Il a pu également prendre parti aux fêtes avec les SVE sur Cracovie, goûter à la bière locale ( qui selon lui se rapproche pas mal de l'eau) et à la vodka Zoladkawa ( delicious) . Je crois meme qu'il en a ramené deux bouteilles avec lui . Apres ce week end à Cracovie, on est rentré ensemble sur Rzeszow , où là il a été super bien accueilli par Dorota, Luci et Andrew. Il a pu decouvrir les joies de dormir à l'Academik . Un soir, on s'est tous imposé dans la cuisine commune de notre étage , on a posé nos tables et préparé un dinner accompagné de vin francais importé de France . Voilà, c'était une tres bonne semaine qui a rappelé à Will les bonheurs de l'ambiance eramus ou SVE à l'étranger.
Sinon dans la semaine je suis allée à un concert de musique juive Klezmer Band Rzeszow , super sympa. C'etait dans un restaurant, ça a commencé tranquillement et ensuite tout le monde s'est mis à danser , cétait bien sympa. Certains connaissaient les pas et d'autres improvisaient . Enfin on s'est bien amusé et la musique est super entrainante. Si je trouve un morceau sur internet , je vais le mettre sur mon blog.
The first weekend, the first tourist from France (Will) came to visit me in Poland. I joined him in Krakow. Although my foot was not yet fully recovered, I made a visit with him even around the city. It was lucky we had a wonderful weather during all the weekend. It could even take a walk in pull over. I showed him the two major districts in Krakow, Kazimierz and the Old Town. He could also take part in the parties with the EVS Krakow, enjoying the local beer (which for him like water) and vodka Zoladkawa (delicious) . I think he even brought two bottles with him. After this weekend in Krakow, we returned together on Rzeszow, where twe were hosting by Dorota, Luci and Andrew. He was able to discover the happiness of sleep to Academik. One evening, we were all imposed in the communal kitchen of our floor, we raised our tables and prepared a dinner with French wine imported from France . So, it was a very good week which reminded Will the pleasures of the atmosphere eramus or EVS in the abroad.
Otherwise this week I went to a music concert Jewish Klezmer Band Rzeszow, nice group. It was in a restaurant, It started quietly and then everyone began to dance , was good fun. Some of them knew the steps and others not and improvised . Finally, we had great fun and the music was very catchy . If I find the music on Internet, I will put it on my blog.
