Lublin
Lublin : Lublin fait partie des villes marquées par l’histoire entre la Pologne et le peuple juif. Elle fut le lieu de la signature de l’Union dite de Lublin entre la Pologne et la Lituanie au 16eme siècle. Grande puissance commerçante, elle fut habitée par les Ruthènes, les Juifs, les Hongrois . Les deux guerres mondiales ont fait de Lublin une ville « martyre » avec une extermination massive des juifs par les nazis notamment avec la construction du camp Majdanek près de Lublin. Aujourd’hui la visite de Lublin nous montre deux visages. Le centre historique est très bien rénové, les ruelles pavillonnaires sont très agréables, le vieux Lublin est accueillant avec sa vue sur le Château constamment en rénovation. Mais à ce côté agréable, s’ajoute une tristesse de certains quartiers à l’aspect dégradé. Cependant, Lublin est devenue une ville très animée par la venue d’une masse d’étudiants depuis quelques années.
