Where is Lublin ?

Lublin

Lublin is one of the cities marked by history between Poland and the Jewish people. It was the place of the signing of the Union called Lublin between Poland and Lithuania in the 16th century. Great power market , it was inhabited by the Ruthenians, Jews, Hungarians. The two World Wars have made Lublin a city "martyr" with a mass extermination of Jews by the Nazis in particular with the construction of Majdanek camp near Lublin. Today the visit of Lublin shows us two faces. The historic centre is very well renovated, smalls streets are very pleasant, the old Lublin is welcoming with its view of the Castle constantly under renovation. But at this pleasant side, it added here a sadness of some neighborhoods with a degraded look. However, Lublin became a animate city with the arrival of a lot of students since few years.

Zamek Zamosc

Zamość, located near the border with Ukraine, was recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. This city was created in the 16 th century under the leadership of two men: Jan Zamoyski (Polish) and Bernardo Morando (Italian). The Rynek is one of the most beautiful places that I visited in Poland. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t good, so it ruin a little the beauty of the place, but the colors of the City Hall , its buildings around and spirit "Renaissance" that emerge from this centre Historic make it incredible. However, once exited of the Rynek, magic doesn’t exist anymore, the buildings are sad, without interest. Only the green park is also pleasing to see.
