Roumanie - festival danses traditionnelles de l'Est - july -
Carte Roumanie et le trajet effectué depuis la Pologne ( travel from Poland) : La semaine du 7 au 14 juillet , j’ai accompagné un groupe de musique et de danse traditionnelles de Rzeszow en Roumanie . Je travaille depuis peu à la Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture de Rzeszow et après juste quelques jours , la Chorégraphe et le Directeur de la MJC m’ont proposé à moi et ma nouvelle tutrice qui travaille en tant que professeur d’arts plastiques de les accompagner en tant que traducteur anglais – français –polonais. C’était une énorme opportunité.Donc on n’a pas hésité à partir et on n’a pas été déçu du voyage. En effet, mon projet SVE a quelque peu été modifié depuis la venue de l’Agence Nationale Polonaise à Rzeszow dans mon organisation d’accueil pour vérifier mon travail et se rendant compte du manque d’investissement de celle-ci dans l’organisation de mon travail quotidien, elle m’a orienté vers une autre association MJC à Rzeszow où je travaille avec Agata quand je suis sur Rzeszow . Donc cette association m’a offert la merveilleuse opportunité d’aller en Roumanie à Brasov, près de Bran où se trouve le soi-disant Château de Dracula . On a participé avec le groupe « tradition » de Rzeszow au Festival « Grafita Pietrei Craiului » , “the international Festival of arts from the Neighbouring Countries of Romania and the Balkans”. Le festival était superbe , plein de costumes somptueux , belles couleurs , danseurs et musiciens professionnels provenant de tous les pays voisins de Roumanie et des Balkans. 10 groupes étaient présents .L’occasion pour moi de me faire aussi de nouvelles connaissances sur Rzeszow . La Roumanie est un pays magnifique , vallonnée , montagneux , plein de Châteaux surtout en Transylvanie . Les gens sont aussi très accueillants . J’ai rencontré notre coordinatrice roumaine qui nous suivait durant le festival qui me disait que le pays s’est très développé surtout depuis l’entrée dans l’Union Européenne en janvier 2007 : amélioration des routes , implantations de grandes surfaces , plus de travail. Mais on peut encore croiser des paysans ou certaines familles tziganes qui travaillent en campagne avec leur charette et leurs chevaux ou encore les utilisent comme moyen de transport parfois . Je pense qu’en campagne et en montagne , l’eau courante n’est pas encore dans toutes les maisons . Le pays connait aujourd’hui une grosse inflation des prix surtout des loyers tandis que le niveau de vie des familles stagnent. La ville de Brasov possède un centre médiévale très beau , église gothique , vieille place de marché dominée par les montagnes où vivent de nombreux ours bruns qui n’hésitent pas de temps en temps à rentrer en périphérie de ville récupérer de la nourriture dans les poubelles . La ville est très jolie bien qu'autour les bâtiments datent encore de l'époque de Ceausescu mais nombreuses usines ont été rasées et détruites . La Roumanie est un pays à voir , très beau , très intéressant avec des gens accueillants.
The week of 7 to July 14, I accompanied a group of music and dance traditional from Rzeszow in Romania. I work recently at the youth cultural center in Rzeszow and after just a few days, the Director and Choreographer of MDK have proposed to me and my new tutor who works as a professor of arts to accompany them as an English-french-Polish translator. It was a great opportunity. So we did not hesitate to leave and we were not disappointed with the trip. Indeed, my EVS project has somewhat changed since the advent of the Polish National Agency for Rzeszow in my host organisation to check my work and realizing the lack of investment there in organizing my daily work, she directed me to another association MDK in Rzeszow where I work with Agata when I'm on Rzeszow. So this combination offered me the wonderful opportunity to go to Romania in Brasov, near Bran where is the so-called Castle Dracula. We had participated with the group "tradition" of Rzeszow in the Festival "Grafita Pietrei Craiului", "the International Festival of Arts from the Neighbouring Countries of Romania and the Balkans." The festival was superb, full of sumptuous costumes, beautiful colors, professional dancers and musicians from all countries neighbouring Romania and the Balkans. 10 groups were present. The opportunity for me to know new people from Rzeszow. Romania is a beautiful country, hilly, mountainous, full of Castles especially in Transylvania. People are also very hospitable. I met our coordinator Romanian that we followed during the festival telling me that the country has highly developed especially since the entry into the European Union in January 2007: improvement of roads, settlements big supermarkets , more work . But you can still cross farmers or some Romanian families who work in the countryside with their carts and their horses or even using them as a way of transportation sometimes. I think that campaign and in the mountains, running water is not yet in all houses. The country now knows a big price inflation mainly rents while the standard of living of families have stagnated. The city of Brasov has a beautiful medieval centre, Gothic church, an old market place dominated by mountains, where live many brown bears who come time to time around the city recover for food in bins . The city is pretty well even if around buildings still dating from the time of Ceausescu, but many factories have been razed and destroyed. Romania is a country to see, very beautiful, very interesting with friendly people.
