Colony Myczkowce , religious centre : Mi août , j’ai participé à une colonie de vacances un peu particulière pour moi car très catholique avec le centre Caritas , grand centre religieux en Pologne . Je n’étais pas vraiment informée de la manière dont se déroulerait la colonie et je ne savais pas que ce serait si religieux. Même si je suis baptisée et que j’ai passée ma Communion, je ne fais pas partie des gens qui vont à la messe tous les dimanches et encore moins tous les jours , donc je me suis accomodée à un rythme un peu nouveau : messe et chants religieux tous les jours , approche à la religion catholique au quotidien. Au départ c’était un peu surprenant de voir un tel enthousiasme des enfants surtout à participer aux activités religieuses mais je sais qu’en Pologne la religion fait partie du quotidien. Ca se différencie un peu de la France sur ce point. Mais je m’y suis adaptée , les enfants et l’équipe d’animation étaient très ouverts à l’apprentissage de ma culture , ma langue . Donc c’était une approche différente des colonies de vacances mais très intéressante.
In mid August, I attended a summer camp a bit special for me because very catholic centre with the center Caritas, a large religious centre in Poland. I was not really informed how the summer camp would take place and I did not know that would be such religious. Even if I am named and I spent my Communion, I am not one of the people who go to Mass every Sunday and even less every day, so I have adapted my self to a rythm a bit new : Mass and religious songs every day, an approach of the Catholic religion everyday. At the beginning it was a little surprising to see such enthusiasm among children especially to participate in religious activities but I know that in Poland religion is part of everyday life. It differs a bit from France on this point. But I have adapted, children and the animation team were very open to learn about my culture, my language. So it was a different approach of summer camps, but very interesting.
